...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN CHEYENNE AND EAST
CENTRAL KIMBALL COUNTIES THROUGH 315 PM MDT...

At 240 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Potter, or 15 miles west of Sidney, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sidney, Potter, Brownson, and Cheyenne County Fairgrounds.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 37 and
54.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
