Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southeast Wyoming/Western Nebraska
National Weather Service CHEYENNE WY
144 PM MDT Tue Aug 13 2024

.DISCUSSION...

Fire weather concerns will remain low the next couple of days
due to higher than normal chances of wetting rainfall across the
area, and elevated afternoon minimum humidity readings near or above
25-35 percent. Gusty and erratic winds are expected from showers
and thunderstorms today and tomorrow. The highest wind gusts near
and around dry fuels may reach 40-50mph this afternoon. Temperatures
are expected to gradually increase for daytime highs by this weekend
as we see a drying trend return to the area.
