...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT GOLDEN VALLEY...WESTERN
BILLINGS...SOUTHWESTERN MCKENZIE AND NORTHWESTERN SLOPE COUNTIES
THROUGH 815 PM CDT/715 PM MDT/...

At 726 PM CDT/626 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles south of Savage to
8 miles northwest of Golva to 20 miles west of Baker. Movement was
east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. In addition, wind gusts of 59 mph were
         reported in the Wibaux, Montana area.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Beach, Medora, Golva, Sentinel Butte, Trotters, Elkhorn State Natural
Area, Alpha, Sentinel Butte State Nature Preserve, Sully Creek State
Park, Three V Crossing, and Pretty Butte.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
