...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN ALPENA AND
NORTHWESTERN ALCONA COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 443 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms near Ossineke Township, or near The Town Of Hubbard
Lake. The strongest of these storms was moving south at 5 mph. Storm
motion will be slow and highly variable in direction.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Ossineke, The Town Of Hubbard Lake, Curran, Ossineke Township,
Hubbard Lake, Spratt, and Mitchell Township.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
