...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN BEAVER AND EASTERN TEXAS
COUNTIES THROUGH 300 AM CDT...
At 216 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles southwest of Tyrone, or 14 miles southwest of Liberal, moving
northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hooker, Tyrone, Optima, Hardesty, Bryans Corner, Baker, Adams, Boyd,
Turpin, and Floris.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
