...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL WARREN COUNTY THROUGH
515 PM EDT...

At 418 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Chestertown, or 7 miles north of Warrensburg, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Warrensburg, Johnsburg, Chestertown, Bolton Landing, Bolton, Thurman,
Stony Creek, Thurman Station, Cleverdale, Starbuckville, Riparius,
Wevertown, Diamond Point, Pilot Knob, South Horicon, High Street,
Athol, Brant Lake, Riverbank, and Rockhurst.

This includes Interstate 87 between exits 23 and 25.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
