This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast North Carolina,
central Virginia, east central Virginia, north central Virginia,
south central Virginia and southeast Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon into the
evening of July 4th. Some of the storms may produce strong gusty
winds and locally heavy downpours.

Additionally, increasingly hot and humid conditions are expected over
the outlook area from Thursday through the upcoming weekend. Midday
and afternoon heat index values in the upper 90s to low 100s are
expected Thursday. The hottest days are expected to be Friday through
the weekend, with heat indices expected in the 103-108 range.
