...RED FLAG WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
MIDNIGHT AKDT TONIGHT...

* AFFECTED AREA...South Slopes Of The Eastern Brooks Range,
  Dalton Highway Summits and Yukon Flats.

* TIMING...From 2 PM this afternoon to midnight AKDT tonight.

* WINDS...West to southwest 15 to 25 mph. Highest gusts up to 35
  mph over the south slopes of the Brooks Range N of Venetie.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 28 percent.

* TEMPERATURES...Highs in the mid 70s to lower 80s.

* IMPACTS...Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be
  possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that conditions are occurring or will
occur which could lead to the development of large and dangerous
fires. It is directed toward fire agencies, and through them, to
the public.

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this Red Flag Warning.
