.DISCUSSION...

Conditions will by dry and warm today. A slow moving low pressure
system will bring rain showers, and a few thunderstorms, tonight
through the day Thursday, making for a cooler, soggy Fourth of July.
Minimum relative humidity values this afternoon will be in the 35 to
45 percent range.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture content of grasses,
and other dry organic material on the ground, indicate that the
probability of a fast moving fire is low.  Outdoor burning under
these conditions can usually be performed with reasonable safety
precautions, but should be monitored.


The outlook for Independence Day afternoon...The grassland fire
danger index will reach the low category.
