.DISCUSSION...

We will remain under a weak surface pressure pattern. There is
around a 30% chance of spotty afternoon and early evening, daytime
heating driven, showers and thunderstorms today. Winds will remain
out of the northwest at 5 to 15 mph, with relative humidity values
remaining above 45 percent.

The mainly afternoon and early evening showers and thunderstorms
will continue through the weekend, mainly focused over eastern South
Dakota into west central Minnesota where there is around a 60% chance
of showers and thunderstorms each afternoon.
