...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN ROOSEVELT...
NORTHEASTERN DE BACA...SOUTHWESTERN QUAY AND EASTERN GUADALUPE
COUNTIES THROUGH 515 AM MDT...

At 440 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 15 miles south of Montoya to 6 miles north of
Fort Sumner. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Sumner, House, and Taiban.

This includes Highway 60 between Mile Markers 331 and 345.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If threatening weather approaches your area, take shelter in a sturdy
building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
