.DISCUSSION...
A calm start to the day will give way to scattered afternoon
thunderstorm activity near the fire location. Thunderstorm
development will favor the nearby ridgeline of the San Mateo Mts
near 1pm to 2pm MDT. Storm motions will be slow and erratic gusty
winds are the most likely impact to the fire location. Shower and
thunderstorm chances wane through the evening hours as conditions
calm overnight. Continued daily rounds of afternoon storms
developing over the nearby mountain ranges providing impacts
in the form of lightning, locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds
continues each day through the weekend.

                    showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.
