542 WWUS20 KWNS 032303 SEL4 SPC WW 032303 KSZ000-NEZ000-040500- URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 504 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 605 PM CDT Wed Jul 3 2024 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of North Central Kansas Central Nebraska * Effective this Wednesday night from 605 PM until Midnight CDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...A line of strong/severe storms over central Nebraska will track eastward through the evening, posing a risk of occasionally damaging wind gusts and hail. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 50 statute miles east and west of a line from 45 miles northeast of Oneill NE to 15 miles east southeast of Hill City KS.
