DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions will continue through the afternoon
across most of eastern Oklahoma and west central Arkansas, with
maximum heat index values near 105 degrees expected. Conditions
will improve through the evening and overnight.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Hot and humid conditions are expected to continue through the
weekend into the middle part of next week as upper level ridging
dominates. Heat headlines will likely be needed through this
period.

A boundary is expected to dip into the area toward the latter
half of the week, bringing increased thunderstorm chances along
with cooler temperatures.
