SIGNIFICANT WINDS.
RISK...Limited.
AREA...Terrain of Southeast Oklahoma.
ONSET...After midnight.

DISCUSSION...
A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible across northeast
Oklahoma this morning into the early afternoon. Thunderstorms will
increase in coverage this afternoon mainly across southeast
Oklahoma and west-central Arkansas as outer bands develop in
advance of Tropical Cyclone Beryl. As these bands spread north,
gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall are possible. An isolated
severe wind gust is possible. The right front quadrant of the
storm, a region favorable for tornadoes from landfalling tropical
storms, is expected to stay to the south and east of the area.

An area of potentially heavy tropical rains will lift up into
southeast Oklahoma and western Arkansas tonight in association
with the core of Beryl as the center moves northeast into the
ArkLaTex. Multiple rounds of rainfall over southeast Oklahoma into
western Arkansas thru Tuesday morning could lead to some
flooding. A Flood Watch is in effect from 1 PM this afternoon to 1
PM Tuesday.

Wind gusts to near 40 mph will be possible in the terrain of
Southeast Oklahoma late tonight into Tuesday morning when the
center of Beryl makes its closest approach to the area.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
TUESDAY...Thunderstorm Potential...Heavy Rain Potential.
WEDNESDAY thru FRIDAY...No Hazards.
SATURDAY and SUNDAY...Dangerous Heat Potential.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
The tropical rains from Beryl will be exiting western Arkansas
during the day on Tuesday. Some heavy rain and flooding potential
will likely linger into Tuesday morning with the rains coming to
an end by Tuesday evening.

A ridge of high pressure aloft will gradually build back over the
Plains later this week. As a result, temperatures will climb,
with highs in the upper 90s to near 100 in some spots by next
weekend. Heat headlines may be needed.
