A few strong to marginally severe storms will be possible south of Interstate 40 through this evening, with the potential for localized heavy rainfall and strong downburst wind gusts. Thunderstorms should continue into the overnight hours, focusing more across southeast Oklahoma. Locally heavy rainfall is possible with any of this activity. SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT... Local Spotter Activation May Be Needed. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. THURSDAY...Thunderstorm Potential. Thunderstorm chances will focus across far southeast Oklahoma on Thursday, with dry and cooler weather area wide on Friday. The developing weather pattern will support daily thunderstorm chances this weekend through early next week.
