Showers and thunderstorms will continue to move southeast across
the area today. Locally heavy rainfall will remain possible with
the stronger storms. Clouds and precipitation will help keep
temperatures unseasonably cool for July, with afternoon highs
mainly in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

An upper trough over our area will slowly weaken with time during
the upcoming week, but will likely continue to result in isolated
to scattered showers and thunderstorms each day, mainly during
the afternoon hours and mainly from southeast Oklahoma into
northwest Arkansas. Temperatures will slowly warm as the upper
trough weakens, but will remain below normal at least until next
weekend.

Scattered to widespread showers/storms continue this morning across eastern
Oklahoma and western Arkansas with MVFR to VFR conditions across the area.
These conditions will persist through the morning and into the early afternoon
across the area before conditions improve. Could see patchy fog late in the
period which could impact sites.
