...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WAKULLA...NORTHWESTERN TAYLOR...
JEFFERSON...SOUTHEASTERN LEON AND WEST CENTRAL MADISON COUNTIES
THROUGH 500 PM EDT...

At 425 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Monticello to 7 miles east of Woodville to
6 miles west of Crawfordville. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Tallahassee, Woodville, Monticello, St. Marks, Crawfordville,
Wakulla, Alma, Cody, Shadeville, Leon Sinks, Wakulla Springs, Eight
Mile Pond, Drifton, Medart, Bethel, Natural Bridge, Lake Miccosukee,
Apalachee Ridge Estates, Chaires Crossroads, and Festus.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
