...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 10 PM MDT THIS
EVENING FOR DRY THUNDERSTORMS AND GUSTY OUTFLOW WINDS...

.DISCUSSION...Increasing moisture across the area will lead to the
development of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon, many of them
dry initially with an increasing mix of wet thunderstorms. This
activity will be capable of producing gusty and erratic winds of
35-45 mph with a low, or 10 percent chance of gusts up to 60 mph.
Showers and a thunderstorm or two will linger this evening with
isolated showers overnight. Each day from Sunday through Thursday,
afternoon showers and thunderstorms will develop over the terrain,
with a mix of both wet and dry thunderstorms. A slight increase in
humidity early in the week will be replaced with a slight warming
and drying trend by later in the week. Outside of showers and
thunderstorm induced erratic winds, expect repeatable winds in valleys
each day with overnight drainage winds and afternoon upvalley winds.
