689 AWUS84 KSJT 072037 RWSSJT WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WEST CENTRAL TEXAS NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN ANGELO TX 337 PM CDT Sun Jul 7 2024 And now, here`s your Regional Weather Summary, for West Central Texas. This afternoon, temperatures were in the mid 90s to around 100 degrees under mostly sunny skies. A few isolated showers were located around the Northwest Hill Country but most places remained dry. Winds were out of the south to southeast at 5 to 15 mph. Now, here`s a quick forecast summary, for West Central Texas. We have a slight chance for strong to marginally severe storms across the Big Country and northwestern Concho Valley this evening into the overnight hours with the main hazard being damaging winds. Overnight lows will remain mild in the upper 60s to low 70s. As a weak cold front moves into the area tomorrow, we`ll see slight chances for rain mainly north of the I-10 corridor with temperatures ranging from mid 80s to the lower 90s. Slight chances for isolated showers and storms will be possible most afternoons this week with temperatures on a gradual warming trend back into the upper 90s to around 100 degrees by late week. $$
