.DISCUSSION...

Shower and thunderstorm chances will increase around 1100 Friday
and continue through 0100 Saturday. However, most likely chances
to see rain and thunderstorms is between 1300 and 1600 Friday
afternoon and again between 1800 and 2100 Friday evening. Gusty
winds and locally heavy rainfall will be the main concerns with
stronger storms Friday.

Winds will generally prevail from the west southwest at 10 to 15
mph gusting as high as 30 mph during the afternoon. Locally stronger
wind gusts will be possible with any thunderstorms.

Temperatures Friday will be cooler and RHs will be wetter than
Thursday, given the continued cloudiness and shower and thunderstorm
activity. Looking ahead to Saturday, we return to a warming and
drying trend, which will continue through the rest of the weekend
and into the early part of next week. There are slight chances of
showers and thunderstorms Saturday afternoon, but chances remain
less than 20 percent.
