ANSON AND SOUTHWESTERN STANLY COUNTIES THROUGH 400 AM EDT...

At 300 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a developing strong
thunderstorm near Midland, or 13 miles northeast of Monroe, moving
east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 45 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locust, Oakboro, and Stanfield.
