...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL PROWERS...BACA AND
EAST CENTRAL LAS ANIMAS COUNTIES THROUGH 800 PM MDT...

At 656 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 10 miles northwest of Pritchett to 12 miles
east of Kim to 6 miles southeast of Wheeless. Movement was east at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Springfield, Pritchett, Vilas, Campo, Two Buttes, and Two Buttes
Reservoir.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
