Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
141 PM MDT Fri Jul 19 2024

.Discussion...

Showers and thunderstorms will continue across the region through
Monday, drying out slightly for mid to late next week. Temperatures
will warm today across the area, with a cold front arrive over the
weekend cooling southern Colorado down. This cold front will also
bring more widespread precipitation chances to the area. Warming
temperatures are forecast for mid to late next week with a return
to hot conditions. Drier conditions are forecast, with most shower
and thunderstorm activity confined to the higher terrain. Lightning,
gust outflow winds and locally heavy rainfall will all be possible
through the weekend.

Smoke dispersions will start out poor this morning, becoming most good
across the region this afternoon. A return to poor dispersions is
forecast for tonight.
