909 FNUS55 KPUB 192043 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 243 PM MDT Fri Jul 19 2024 .Discussion... A cold front will bring a cooler period of weather to southern CO through early next week, with daily chances for showers and thunderstorm over and near the mountains. Locally heavy rainfall and gusty erratic winds will be the primary storm risks with flash flooding possible on burn scars if thunderstorms directly impact these region. Temperatures will start to warm again through the middle to latter part of next week with more isolated thunderstorm activity expected across the mountains. Smoke ventilation rates will rise into the good to very good categories over most of the district Saturday but remain in the poor to fair category on Sunday due to cooler temperatures. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-201015- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 243 PM MDT Fri Jul 19 2024 .TONIGHT...
