Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
244 PM MDT Sat Jul 20 2024

.Discussion...

Widespread showers and thunderstorms along with much cooler
temperatures are forecast through Monday. Storms will be
capable of producing gusty outflow winds, lightning and locally
heavy rainfall, with the best coverage over and near the higher
terrain. For the middle to end of next week, warmer and drier
conditions are expected across the district, especially across
eastern Colorado. There will be enough moisture to support
daily chances of more isolated to scattered showers and storms
over the higher terrain.

Afternoon smoke dispersions will generally poor to fair across
eastern portions of the district on Sunday and Monday, with
fair to good dispersions across western portions of the area.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
