.DISCUSSION...
Tuesday will be 3 to 5 degrees warmer than Monday as hot high
pressure builds over the Idaho Panhandle. Relative humidity
recovery will be poor the next several nights as temperatures remain
warm especially in the mid-slopes. Keep an eye on the forecast for
Wednesday and Wednesday evening. There is a 15 percent chance of
showers. Any rain that falls into the hot and dry air mass will
have the potential to produce gusty outflow winds. The chance for
lightning late in the day Wednesday into Wednesday evening is
10 percent or less. Hot weather will intensify over the weekend
with the potential for record heat on Sunday.
