WESTCHESTER...QUEENS...WESTERN SUFFOLK AND NORTHERN NASSAU COUNTIES
THROUGH 845 PM EDT...

At 805 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Tarrytown to near New Rochelle to Little Neck.
Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Jamaica, Stamford, Norwalk, Danbury, New Rochelle, White Plains,
Huntington Station, Port Chester, Glen Cove, Ossining, New Canaan,
Syosset, Huntington, Rye, and Tarrytown.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southeastern New York.
