Southeast Gulf of America

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will prevail across the basin
through the forecast period. Fresh to strong NE to E winds will
pulse along and just north of the Yucatan Peninsula each
afternoon and evening as a trough develops inland daily and then
drifts westward over the Bay of Campeche at night.

.OVERNIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt after midnight. Seas 2 ft or
less.
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON NIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TUE...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TUE NIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less,
building to 3 ft after midnight.
.WED...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Moderate to fresh southerly winds and moderate seas
will prevail over the western Atlantic through Mon, as the
remnants of T.D. Chantal continue moving inland away from the
area. The Atlantic ridge will continue to build westward toward
Florida and the Bahamas through the week. This pattern will
support gentle to moderate winds, except for fresh to strong E
to SE winds off the northern coast of Hispaniola through Fri
night.

.OVERNIGHT...S of 27N, SE winds 5 to 10 kt after midnight. N of
27N, S winds 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Seas 3 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated tstms.
.MON...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less.
.MON NIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TUE...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
