Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak pressure pattern will continue across the
Gulf through Thu night, supporting mainly gentle to moderate
breezes and slight seas. Moderate to fresh SW winds will develop
over the far NE Gulf this evening ahead of a weak cold front
forecast to move into the NE Gulf early on Mon. The front will
stall briefly Mon night and then move E of the area Tue
afternoon.

.TODAY...SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N in the afternoon.
Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S after
midnight. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.MON NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TUE...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.TUE NIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.WED...W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.WED NIGHT...W to NW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to S 5 kt

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Ernesto is north of the area near
34.6N 63.0W at 5 AM EDT, and is moving north-northeast at 8 kt.
Maximum sustained winds are 60 kt with gusts to 75 kt, and the
minimum central pressure is 978 mb. Ernesto will continue to
move further north from the area. However, large swells
generated by Ernesto will continue to affect the Bahamas and the
southeast United States coast through tonight into early Mon.
Expect moderate to fresh SW winds off northeast Florida late
today into Mon, ahead of a weak cold front that will move into the
area tonight, then briefly stall Mon night and weaken through mid
week.

.TODAY...E to SE winds less than 5 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft in NE to E
swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, E winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to SE to S
after midnight. N of 27N, S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft in
NE to E swell. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.MON...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N of
27N. Seas 3 to 4 ft in NE to E swell. Scattered showers and
isolated tstms.
.MON NIGHT...S winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S to SW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft in NE to E swell
after midnight. Scattered showers and isolated tstms.
.TUE...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning, subsiding
to 2 ft or less.
.TUE NIGHT...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
