.SYNOPSIS...A cold front will drift S over the central and S
waters today into tonight, and stall across the S waters Wed. A
weak low will move E along the front Wed, and quickly move E of
the area while pulling the cold front S of the area Wed night
into Fri. High pressure will build E over the N portion today
into Fri, then shift E of the region Fri night into Sat night
while maintaining a ridge across the waters. Tropical Storm
Ernesto will track N to the SE of the area Fri night while
strengthening to a hurricane, then turn NE Sat and Sat night. See
the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center on
Tropical Storm Ernesto. Chesapeake NAVTEX continues to be
reported inoperable.
