.SYNOPSIS...A high pressure ridge will build SE over the waters
tonight into Sat, then slowly shift E of the region Sat night
into Sun night. Hurricane Ernesto will track N to NE tonight into
Sat night while passing SE then E of the waters, then accelerating
off to the NE Sun through Mon. Long period SE to E swell from
Ernesto will move N and NW into the waters through Fri, and then
continue into Mon night. See the latest advisory from the
National Hurricane Center on Hurricane Ernesto. A weak cold front
will approach from the NW Mon night, then slowly move offshore
Tue and Tue night. The NAVTEX station in Chesapeake has been
reported to be inoperable.
