...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

The marine layer has pulled back to the coast which will allow for
another seasonably warm and dry day across the district. Expect a
moderate afternoon seabreeze with winds pushing up the north bay
valleys and down the Salinas valley this afternoon and evening. Low
RH readings above the marine inversion layer. A band of high clouds
may pass over the North Bay tonight but little or no impact is
forecast. An upper low off the coast will keep temperatures near
normal with a persistent marine layer near the coast this week. Any
convection associated with this low is currently forecast to stay
over the Sierra or in the coastal ranges north of Clear Lake with
only about a 5 percent chance of any rogue thunderstorms over
extreme northern Sonoma and Napa counties later Monday and Tuesday.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Hot and dry conditions with low RH values will increase the
potential for fire risks along with the threat of dry lighting for
Monday and Tuesday afternoon. A Red Flag upgrade for Monday
afternoon through the evening for high base thunderstorms in dry
fuel areas, highlights the threat of rapid wildfire growth. Similar
conditions are expected for Tuesday afternoon with slightly less
certainty and so a Fire Watch is in place.
