...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CENTRAL IRON COUNTY THROUGH 630
PM CDT...

At 558 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Crystal Falls to 7 miles northeast of
Phelps. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Iron River, Crystal Falls, Stambaugh, Amasa, Caspian, Gaastra, Alpha,
Way Dam, Bewabic State Park, Hagerman Lake, Golden Lake, and Mineral
Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Heavy rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
