...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Minnesota...

  Minnesota River at Savage affecting Hennepin, Dakota, Carver and
  Scott Counties.

  Minnesota River near Jordan affecting Sibley, Carver and Scott
  Counties.

  Minnesota River at Morton affecting Redwood and Renville Counties.

  Minnesota River at Henderson MN19 affecting Le Sueur, Sibley and
  Scott Counties.

.River levels will continue falling as there are no widespread heavy
rain events in the forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Minnesota River at Savage.

* WHEN...Until late Monday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 705.0 feet, Flood waters begin to impact the park
  road at Fort Snelling State Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 800 PM CDT Tuesday, the stage was 705.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 800 PM CDT Tuesday was 705.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Monday morning and continue falling to 700.2 feet
    Tuesday, July 16.
  - Flood stage is 702.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    705.5 feet on 03/05/1975.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 745 PM CDT Tuesday was 26.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Sunday morning and continue falling to 23.0 feet

    ending at 800 PM CDT Tuesday was 21.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Thursday evening and continue falling to 19.0 feet Tuesday,
    July 16.
  - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

  east of Henderson.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 830 PM CDT Tuesday was 732.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening and continue falling to 727.6 feet Tuesday,
    July 16.
  - Flood stage is 732.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    732.4 feet on 06/21/1996.
