Fire Weather Planning Forecast For A Large Part of Arkansas
National Weather Service Little Rock AR
308 PM CDT Sat Jul 13 2024

.Discussion...

Recent rainfall greatly helped dry soil conditions and helped give
fine fuels plenty of moisture to recover from a June that was
overall drier than normal. The heat will build up over the next
few days, but the humidity will build with it, keeping fire danger
low through mid-week. Mid-week, widespread rain chances return to
the forecast, with some at least slightly cooler temperatures
behind the rain to finish out the week. As a result low fire
danger is expected over the 7 day forecast.
