  Northwestern Calvert County in southern Maryland...
  Central Prince Georges County in central Maryland...
  Arlington County in northern Virginia...
  East central Fairfax County in northern Virginia...
  The City of Alexandria in northern Virginia...

* Until 715 PM EDT.

* At 630 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Marlow
  Heights, or near Nationals Park, moving east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches
           to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as
           damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by
           downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
           Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

* Locations impacted include...
  Arlington, Alexandria, Bowie, Clinton, Crofton, Fort Washington,
  Fort Hunt, Groveton, Forestville, Huntington, Largo, Coral Hills,
  Bladensburg, National Harbor, Upper Marlboro, Nationals Park, Fedex
  Field, Howard University, Gallaudet University, and Reagan National
  Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
