For the following areas...
Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD...
Eastern Bay...

At 333 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Thomas Point
Light, moving east at 10 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 48 knots.

SOURCE...Observed wind.

IMPACT...Boaters could easily be thrown overboard by suddenly higher
         wind and waves capsizing their vessel. Boats could suffer
         significant damage in high winds.

Locations impacted include...
Parsons Island, Eastern Bay, Greenbury Point, Naval Academy, Highland
Beach, Sandy Point State Park, Severn River, Romancoke, Bloody Point
Light, Matapeake, Chesapeake Bay Bridge, Thomas Point Light, Shady
Side, Mayo, and Annapolis.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
