Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...

A weak 30.0 to 30.1 inch ridge stays in place over Lake Superior
through Thursday. Ridging is eventually pushed east by a 29.8 inch
trough moving from the Northern Plains into northern Ontario Friday
night into Saturday. Within this trough, two 29.8 inch lows will
combine by Saturday afternoon over northern Ontario. Weak ridging of
at least 29.9 inches then returns to Lake Superior Sunday morning
and holds over head until at least Monday evening.
