FOR WATERS BEYOND FIVE NAUTICAL MILES OF SHORE ON Lake Michigan.

Waves are provided as a range of significant wave heights, which
is the average of the highest 1/3 of the wave, along with the
average height of the highest 10% of the waves which will
occasionally be encountered.

.SYNOPSIS...

High pressure of 30.0 inches centered over Wisconsin this
afternoon will continue to move eastward through Tuesday allowing
for light and variable winds. Winds will become east to
southeasterly and accelerate on Wednesday as low pressure of 29.7
inches develops across the Central Plains and lifts northeast
towards the Great Lakes, moving through the region on Thursday and
Friday while deepening to 29.5 inches. Shower and thunderstorm
chances exist across Lake Michigan on Thursday and Friday due to
this low. Westerly to northerly winds expected this weekend as the
low departs eastward.

late in the morning, then increasing to 5 to 10 kt early in the
afternoon increasing to 10 to 15 kt late. Waves 1 ft or less.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 5 to 10 kt becoming south. Waves
1 ft or less.
.WEDNESDAY...South winds 5 to 10 kt. Waves 1 ft or less.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 10 kt becoming southeast 10 to
20 kt overnight. Waves 1 ft or less building to 1 to 2 ft.
.THURSDAY...Southeast winds 15 to 25 kt. Chance of showers in the
afternoon. Waves 3 to 5 ft building to 4 to 6 ft occasionally to
8 ft.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 15 to 25 kt diminishing to
10 to 20 kt. Showers likely with a chance of thunderstorms. Waves
