860 FZUS54 KLCH 190836 CWFLCH Coastal Waters Forecast National Weather Service Lake Charles LA 336 AM CDT Fri Jul 19 2024 Coastal waters from the Lower Atchafalaya River LA to High Island TX out 60 nautical miles including Sabine and Calcasieu Lakes and Vermilion and Cote Blanche Bays Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest one third of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest ten percent of the waves. GMZ400-192215- 336 AM CDT Fri Jul 19 2024 .SYNOPSIS... A surface frontal boundary is expected to drop southward into the forecast area before stalling and meandering around the region into the weekend, allowing for light and variable winds over the next few days. Convection will also increase across the coastal waters with the boundary in the vicinity. Into next week, surface high ridge across the northern Gulf of Mexico that will provide light southerly winds and low seas.
