...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN KEITH...SOUTH
CENTRAL GARDEN AND DEUEL COUNTIES THROUGH 830 PM MDT...

At 743 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southwest of Lewellen to 8 miles north
of Barton to Julesburg. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Big Springs, Brule, Barton, Intersection of Highway 27 and 9 Mile
Road, Goldeneye State Wildlife Management Area, Megeath, and Windlass
Hill.

This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 90 and
118.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM MDT for
the Panhandle of and southwestern Nebraska.
