Through 700 pm, isolated showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will move west northwest at 10 to 15 knots across the SE Gulf waters, as well as in the Straits of Florida south to southwest of the Lower Keys. Elsewhere, a few showers may move into the distant eastern Straits of Florida. Mariners may encounter wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots, reduced visibilities in brief moderate to heavy downpours, and a few lightning strikes. $$ NB
