Through 900 pm, isolated showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will move west at 10 to 15 knots across the SE Gulf waters, as well as in the Straits of Florida south of the Lower Keys. Elsewhere, a few stronger storms will move through the distant eastern Straits of Florida southeast of Floyd`s Wall Northeast. Mariners may encounter wind gusts of 20 to 25 knots, reduced visibilities in brief moderate to heavy downpours, and a few lightning strikes in the stronger storms. $$ NB
