The areas affected include... Gulf of Mexico from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal out to 5 fathoms... Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and beyond 5 fathoms... Conditions will be favorable for waterspout development along a cloud line over the Gulf waters north of the Lower Keys through the early evening hours. Locations that will be affected include... Smith Shoal Light, Water Keys, and Content Keys. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Environmental conditions favor waterspout formation. A waterspout would most likely appear beneath a dark, flat bottom of a building cumulus line, just at the hint of rain.
