Issued at 1017 PM EDT Fri Jun 27 2025 A surface Atlantic ridge stretching across Florida is maintaining gentle east to southeasterly breezes along the Keys this evening. Skies have been a bit hazy this evening with a large swath of dust riding into our area around the southern periphery of the ridge. Guidance suggests the lower levels is in the process of considerable drying and satellite imagery agrees. Local radars indicate all convective activity is now located along old seabreeze boundaries working their way through our deep Gulf waters. Surface conditions are near disgusting with temperatures still in the mid 80s and dew points in the upper 70s. Atlantic ridging will remain in control through the overnight period. As a result, surface winds will remain gentle out of the east to southeast. This flow will maintain seasonably warm conditions with lows in the lower 80s and dew points hopefully slipping a degree or two. The dominant ridging and drying taking place through the lower levels should help to minimize convective potential. Will maintain dime PoPs for the overnight period. && .MARINE...
