...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN NEWTON AND
SOUTHEASTERN SCOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM CDT...

At 307 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lake, or 7 miles west of Newton, moving east at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This strong thunderstorm will be near...
  Newton and Lawrence around 315 PM CDT.
