...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL FULTON AND
SOUTHWESTERN KNOX COUNTIES THROUGH 1230 AM CDT...

At 1204 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Abingdon, or 11 miles south of Galesburg, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Abingdon, Knoxville, London Mills, Maquon, St. Augustine, Dahinda,
Delong, Gilson, and Middle Grove.

This includes Interstate 74 between mile markers 54 and 62.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
west central Illinois.
