...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT LAWRENCE...CRAWFORD...SOUTHERN
JASPER...RICHLAND...CLAY AND SOUTHERN EFFINGHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 1230
AM CDT...

At 1146 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a gust front preceding a
broken line of strong thunderstorms. The gust front was along a line
extending from near Palestine to near Edgewood. Movement was
southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph will precede any showers or
         thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Olney, Robinson, Flora, Lawrenceville, Newton, Sumner, Bridgeport,
Oblong, Palestine, Louisville, Clay City, St. Francisville, Noble,
Edgewood, Xenia, Mason, Bible Grove, Flat Rock, Ste. Marie, and
Willow Hill.

This includes Interstate 57 between mile markers 143 and 145.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for
south central, southeastern and east central Illinois.
