CENTRAL MOULTRIE...SHELBY...NORTHWESTERN CUMBERLAND AND SOUTHERN
MACON COUNTIES THROUGH 1100 PM CDT...

At 955 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms and a
gust front along a line extending from Mount Zion to near White Oak.
Movement was southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Decatur, Mattoon, Taylorville, Pana, Shelbyville, Sullivan, Neoga,
Mount Zion, Moweaqua, Kincaid, Bethany, Long Creek, Assumption, Blue
Mound, Macon, Morrisonville, Stonington, Windsor, Stewardson, and
Findlay.

This includes Interstate 57 between mile markers 169 and 188.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for central
Illinois.
